It opens with a heartbroken Oom (Chayanan Manomaisantiphap) accidentally hitting a man and giving him amnesia. Feeling guilty, Oom takes him into her own apartment and calls him Tan (Ananda Everingham) after the word on the necklace found on him. Tan is given a journal and urged to practice "free association" in an effort to recall his past life. "I don't want to remember anymore. I want to be like this with you here, forever" he tells Oom. They fall in love but soon discover that Tan is gay and more shockingly, he is the star of a transvestite cabaret show in Phuket...
